Jim Mueller is a Senior Vice President, MLG Capital’s General Counsel, as well as a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He has management responsibility over MLG Capital’s legal team. He plays an integral role in the creation and structure of MLG’s investment funds, as well as overseeing the acquisition and disposition of MLG’s real estate investment portfolio.
Previously, he was in-house attorney for a local real estate developer, senior corporate counsel for a national retail chain, and the City Attorney of Green Bay, WI.
He was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and when he’s not cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Bucks or Badgers, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and relaxing at his cabin in northern Wisconsin.
Jim graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance. He then received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin with a concentration in Real Estate law. He has been recognized as a Top Corporate Counsel by Milwaukee Business Journal.
