Jeffrey Petersen

Jeffrey Petersen is an Associate on the Acquisitions team based in MLG Capital’s Dallas office. In this role, he supports the firm’s acquisition efforts by underwriting and evaluating opportunities across the South and Southwest as part of the due diligence process. He joined MLG from Aquiline Capital Partners in New York, where he served as an Analyst on the Venture Capital team.

Jeffrey earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Data Science from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in 2025.

A Southern California native, Jeffrey is a competitive sailor and the founder of Golden State Match Racing, a semi‑professional sailing team. He has won three national championships and one world championship. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the water, Formula 1, snowboarding, live sporting events and concerts, cooking, and travelling.
