Emily Spier is a Vice President of Asset Management. She is primarily responsible for oversight of business plan execution for the MLG Capital multifamily portfolio across the sunbelt. Emily is focused on optimizing asset performance through her role as Asset Manager and enjoys taking a hands-on approach to operational challenges in order to secure good outcomes for investors.
Prior to joining MLG Capital, Emily was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs where she oversaw a housing portfolio consisting of 8,000 multifamily units throughout the continental United States. Emily also spent her early career in the land development sector, working for Anton Development Company and Presidio Bay Ventures where she was responsible for sourcing, developing, and operating multifamily, office, and retail developments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Emily is a Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Women in Asset Management (WAM), and National Multifamily Housing Counsel (NMHC). She has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
