As a Principal and MLG’s Chief Financial Officer, Mike Jagodinski is heavily involved in overseeing the financial operations of MLG’s investments. In his role, Mike focuses on assisting the team with debt placement, treasury operations, as well as reporting on the operating performance of our investments and Funds to our investors. Mike is a former recipient of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Award.

Additionally, Mike is actively involved in MLG’s corporate operations, serving as a member of MLG’s Operating Committee and well as providing oversight to various MLG support departments, including HR, IT, Insurance and Facilities. Mike enjoys working with fellow team members to identify challenges and help turn those challenges into opportunities.

Prior to joining MLG, Mike served as a divisional controller for another major real estate firm the Milwaukee area. Prior to that role, Mike was a senior auditor for the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen, where he obtained his CPA license. Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Now living in the Menomonee Falls. Mike’s focus outside of work is family. He enjoys watching his boys compete in various high school sports, as well as catching up with his daughter in college to see how her day went. Mike shares a passion for travel and some “wine-time” with his wife. Their family’s favorite vacation destinations include Ireland, Hawaii and Italy. Mike is also an avid Shark Tank fan, claiming to see most of the episodes, loving to learn how various business work.
