MLG Capital at the 506 Group Conference

MLG Capital will be participating in the 506 Group Conference in Phoenix from September 18–21, 2025. This annual gathering provides an excellent opportunity to engage with members of the 506 Group community, connect with industry peers, and share updates on our work.

In addition, MLG Capital President, Billy Fox, will be presenting at the Valley of the Sun Ballroom (Sheraton Phoenix Downtown) from 10:40 – 11:00am. Billy’s presentation will cover the state of the private real estate market and how we are seeing this play out in our portfolio. We hope to see you there.

Billy Fox

Billy Fox is Principal and President of MLG Capital and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Investment Committee. As President, Billy is tasked with leading the investment, operations, and investor relations teams within the firm. Billy has management responsibility over MLG Capital’s Legacy Fund and 1031 exchange activity.

Billy graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with degrees in Real Estate and Accounting and is CPA.

Aside from work, Billy and his wife, Siena, cherish their time with their two lovely children. He is always ready for a round of golf and loves to spend time in northern Wisconsin.

Steve

Vice President of Investor Relations
Steve Kelly is heavily focused on building relationships with new and prospective individual, RIA, and family office investors. Within that capacity, he also works to improve the overall investor experience. He is also passionate about using technology to increase efficiency. He supports all business units by optimizing how they use Salesforce to improve business outcomes.

Andrew Evanich

As a Vice President at MLG Capital, Andrew Evanich sources 1031 exchange and managed account clients seeking a tax-deferred exit strategy from their real estate holdings. Andrew reports to and services all 1031 exchange clients. Additionally, Andrew raises capital for MLG’s Legacy Fund and series of private funds.

Andrew grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin with five younger sisters. Andrew and his wife, Katie, love visiting Kohler-Andrae State Park with their two daughters and son. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys Peloton bike races, books by Eric Metaxas, skiing in Utah, volunteering for medical mission trips to Honduras, and spending time with his sisters.

Andrew holds an M.B.A. in real estate from Southern Methodist University, where he also earned a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics.

Jorjio Hopkins

Assistant Vice President
Jorjio primarily works with our current and prospective investors, while also working closely with our acquisitions team to find and close great investment opportunities. In addition, he plays a key role in MLG’s Making a Difference (MAD) Initiative, as a member of the MAD Initiative Committee.

Christina

Christina Watson is an Assistant Vice President at MLG Capital, focused on driving new business development, fundraising, and cultivating key relationships across the West Region.

Prior to joining MLG Capital, Christina was a Credit Product Specialist at Oaktree Capital, focused on Opportunistic Credit and Asset-Backed Finance strategies. Before Oaktree, she worked as a senior associate at Dimensional Fund Advisors in the independent advisor global client group. Christina began her career at Deloitte, advising companies on mergers and acquisitions.

Christina earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California Polytechnic State University and is a CFA charterholder. She also holds Series 7 & 63 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Outside the office, Christina enjoys spending time in nature—whether skiing in the Rockies or hiking Colorado’s scenic trails.
