Carter grew up in Green Bay, WI and is an avid Packers fan. He attended Babson College before transferring to Marquette University, where he double majored in Finance and Real Estate. He started as a summer intern and has stuck with MLG Capital ever since. When asked why he chose MLG, he says the answer is simple: “The people. If you’re going to spend 8+ hours a day with your coworkers you better like them, and I do. A lot.”
Carter considers himself a people person first and a real estate professional second. He enjoys connecting with our amazing investors, brokers, and partners to create ‘win-win’ situations. In his down time, you’ll often find him sharing his experiences about personal rental portfolio, connecting with people looking to invest, or explaining what his job entails.
Outside of work, Carter is currently building his own rental portfolio and now serves on the board of the nonprofit organization that he and his sister, Caragan, founded in 2013. To-date, the nonprofit has raised over $300,000 and has received national recognition.
If you’re ever looking for Carter, just head to the nearest body of water, he’ll probably be there.
