Paul Hinkfuss

Deputy General Counsel

Paul and his wife, Sally, have been married for 33 wonderful years and have lived in the same house on the East Side of Milwaukee for 32 of those years where they raised three children—Sarah, 31 and living in San Francisco, Katie, 28 and living in Vienna, Austria and Andrew, 26 and living in Phoenix.

He was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin where some of his family still lives so naturally he is a lifelong proud and loyal Packer fan – even through the down decades of the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. One close connection to the Packers is that his mom, Rosemary Hinkfuss, was the first female member of the Packers’ Board of Directors.

Paul’s primary summer hobby is sailing which he finds both exhilarating and relaxing. One of the best aspects of sailing, he says, is that the whole family participates in it—from infancy to adulthood. In the winter, he enjoys skiing as a family and the kids still ski. Biking, kayaking, hiking and camping are other favorite outdoor pastimes and he likes to keep moving. The Eagles have been his favorite band since college days in Flagstaff and his favorite travel destinations are wherever the kids happen to be living at the time.

He volunteers for several groups and causes, including serving on the Parish Council of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist as chairperson and other positions, volunteering for the Marquette Legal Clinic at the House of Peace and the United Community Center and serving on the board of the Associated Corporate Counsel organization and Helping One Another.
